With the IS50A-1KW-RMT from Gentec-EO, LASER COMPONENTS is marketing a new high-performance joulemeter with an integrated integrating sphere that is specially designed for measurements on pulsed high-power lasers. The custom manufactured, water-cooled measuring device can handle medium laser powers of up to 1 kW, such as those found in material processing, medical technology, the semiconductor industry and the aerospace industry.
When developing the IS50A-1KW-RMT, the manufacturer placed great emphasis on durability and resistance. The detector can withstand a maximum average power density of 5 kW/cm². The maximum permissible energy density lies at 400 mJ/cm². Both values are significantly higher than those of comparable energy detectors.
The calibration of IS50A-1KW-RMT detectors is traceable to the standards defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This allows the measurements to be compared with the results of other companies or measuring devices at any time.
The flexible joulemeter is available with three different output options and can therefore be connected to almost all kinds of computer. Each device is individually manufactured according to each customer's measurement requirements and is available in Europe exclusively from LASER COMPONENTS.
