RF Drivers for Acousto-Optic Devices

High-stability RF drivers for modulators and Q-switches

Designed for acousto-optic modulators and Q-switches, these electronics deliver stable, high-frequency performance with flexible modulation options and advanced pulse control features for demanding photonics applications.

Precision Control for Reliable AO Operation

G&H RF drivers are designed to maximize the performance of acousto-optic modulators, Q-switches, deflectors, and frequency shifters. The product range combines high frequency stability with flexible analog and digital modulation capabilities, enabling precise control of optical systems in industrial, scientific, and OEM applications. Application-specific options such as pulse shaping, synchronization, first-pulse suppression, and multi-channel operation allow the drivers to be optimized for demanding photonics environments.

Built for Speed, Stability, and Control

Depending on the model, the drivers cover frequencies from approximately 20 MHz to 500 MHz and provide output powers ranging from a few watts to more than 20 W. Common features include quartz-stabilized RF generation, TTL-compatible digital modulation, analog power control, and high-speed switching. Selected models support pulse rates up to several megahertz, zero-cross synchronization for improved pulse-to-pulse stability, and configurable operating modes tailored to AO modulation and laser Q-switch applications.
