LASER COMPONENTS develops polychroic beam splitters especially for high-power lasers in industrial material processing. They make it possible to direct three or more wavelengths with a single optic. Such components are in high demand today in Industry 4.0, in which complex sensor systems monitor and control digitized processes.
As an optics manufacturer, LASER COMPONENTS develops the mirrors individually according to customer requirements. For example, it is often necessary to transmit the wavelengths used by the cameras in the infrared (1300-1900 nm) or visible (400-700 nm) range. In addition, other wavelengths can be considered: For example, many laser processing systems use pilot lasers (650 nm) or optical coherence tomography (OCT) systems for depth measurement (950 nm). Of course, even with these complex beam adjustment requirements, the coating designs of the optics are capable of withstanding the high power of an industrial laser (1030-1080 nm) over a long period of time.
