Compact and flexible line laser with homogeneous power distribution

With a housing of 54 mm x 11.5 mm standard housing with adjustable focus, the FLEXPOINT® MVnano lasers are suited as stand-alone products or for integration in very different applications such as sensors or 3D scanners. 

The focusing mechanics was fundamentally reworked in the 2025 edition so that the modules are protected against dust, splash water and the ingress of moisture. The beam drift during focusing has been reduced to a minimum. If your existing system design makes it necessary, you can still obtain the MVnano modules with older mechanics and dimensions. 

There are several optics available for selection that offer the best match between line thickness and depth of focus for each application. 

The MVnano modules are available with either an adjustable or a fixed focus. The fixed focus is set before leaving the factory. Versions with two housing which means separated optical and electronic elements are particularly space saving. One version is also available without an electronic control unit for integration in camera systems. In this case, the electronic driver for the laser module needs to be provided by the customer. The 2025 focusing mechanism of the FLEXPOINT® MV laser modules MVpico, MVnano and MV18 offers a more robust design, particularly resistant to dust, humidity and water splashes. The modules are also more compact, and beam deviations during the focusing process have been further reduced. Handling remains as simple as ever.
